What does an online booking system cost?

A booking system costs more than just the subscription. These are the costs to watch when you compare.

The subscription

Most systems charge a fixed amount per month, sometimes per staff member. Check what is included and what you pay for separately.

Cost per text message

Many systems charge for every text reminder, often around €0.11 to €0.15 per message. With eight clients a day, that quickly adds up to tens of euros a month.

Commission

Platforms that send you new clients often take a percentage of every booking. At Treatwell that is 35% on new clients.

Payment fees

For online payments you pay a small fee per payment to the payment provider. With Mollie that is €0.39 per Bancontact payment.
